The ISGC 2004 will be held at the Academic Activity Center, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan.
How to get Venue from the CKS International Airport
CKS International Airport is located in Taoyuan County approximately 40 kilometers, or about 50 minutes by car or bus from downtown Taipei. It takes about an hour by car from CKS International Airport to the Venue. It is easy to take public transportation from CKS International Airport to Academia Sinica. Buses stations are located in the Arrival Passenger Reception Areas of both Terminals and taxis queue is outside the Arrival Halls of both terminals.

There are two options for the symposium: Howard Plaza Hotel and Guest House of Academia Sinica. Please complete the Hotel Reservation Form online or download the form and send it back to the Secretariat at +886-2-2783-6444. Incoming requests will be processed on a first come - first served basis. It is essential to indicate two optional choices for hotels and the rate for the above two accommodation is as follows:

How to get Howard Plaza Hotel from the CKS International Airport
Howard Plaza Hotel is located on the Jen-ai Road, the heart of Taipei's commercial and financial district. Buses stations are located in the Arrival Passenger Reception Areas of both Terminals and taxis queue is outside the Arrival Halls of both terminals.

Hotel Guarantee and Payment
Howard Plaza : Reservations will only be confirmed if the credit card guarantee or one-night deposit has been received.
Guest House of Academia Sinica: Credit card Guarantee is not needed in Guest House, but reservation should be confirmed 2 weeks before your arrival. The Guest House does not accept credit card but only NT Dollar.
Confirmation
For Howard Plaza , you will receive a confirmation of your hotel reservation with full details of the hotel after the receipt of your hotel guarantee.
For Guest House, the Secretariat will issue a confirmation letter after the receipt of your check-in and check-out date.
Alterations and Cancellation of Hotel Booking
Alteration requests and cancellations must be made in writing to the Secretariat until 1 st July 2004 . Alteration requests within less than two weeks prior to arrival should address directly to the hotel. In case of "no-show", the charges equal to one-night accommodation fee will be debited by the hotel.
